SENSITIZATION IN MARSABIT COUNTY.

The Financial Inclusion Fund (Hustler Fund),Cooperatives and the Marsabit County Senator Hon Mohamed Said Chute, began a Sensitization Campaign in Marsabit.

The main objective of the campaign was to offer Financial literacy and Train Women & Youth groups on Co-operative development and Hustler Fund products i.e how to opt in, how to repay to increase limits and how to form Chama groups and enhance self help groups with relevant information. This will not only lift and Develop themselves but also the Community at large. A total of 134 self help groups formed Hustler Fund Chamas so as to borrow more. where else some repaid their loans partialy since they didn't know how to while many opted in and borrowed.

The sensitization commenced at Korr, Ngurunit, Illaut and South Horr Laisamis Constituency. Loyangalani, Civicon and Kargi. Kinisa,Township,Manyatta,Lami,Hellu,Butiye,Somare,Gurmesa,Sessi,OddaDabeli in Moyale-Marsabit. Sololo,Turbi and finally Burbisa, Logologo and Laisamis, all in Marsabit County.
