FUND'S CEO HANDOVER CEREMONY

The cabinet secretary for Cooperatives & MSME Development, Hon. FCPA Dr. Wycliffe A.Oparanya, presided over the Fund's CEO handing over at KIBT Building. This comes after Mr. Henry K. Tanui was announced by the Fund's Advisory Board. Mr. Tanui succeeds Ms. Elizabeth Nkukuu, who has effectively served as the Acting CEO for 2.5 years, overseeing the successful establishment and launch of the Fund.

The Board sincerely values Ms. Nkukuu’s dedicated service and pioneering leadership, which laid a strong foundation for the Fund’s impact across the country. CS commended the role of the Fund in the country’s socio-economic agenda. “The Financial Inclusion Fund has already provided affordable credit to more than 26 million Kenyans. As we look ahead, I encourage the Hustler Fund team to enhance their efforts in promoting timely repayments to improve credit scores and to expand financial literacy programmes that support Kenyans in succeeding.”

In attendance were the PS MSMEs Development Hon. Susan Mange'ni, Board Chair Dr. Habil Olaka, Board members, and Staff.
